Dr. Fernandez' clinical interests include hand trauma and microsurgery.
An Ohio native, Dr. Fernandez graduated magna cum laude from the University of Akron Ohio and then graduated salutatorian from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 1990. He served his residency and internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and his fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at renowned Indiana Hand Center. Dr. Fernandez is board eligible and was named a Diplomate, National Board of Medical Examiners in 1990.
Dr. Fernandez is fluent in both spoken and written Spanish. His hobbies include marksmanship and maintenance of classic cars. He and his wife, Nicole, reside with their children and white boxer in Chicago.
