For more than four decades, Dr. Galante has earned worldwide recognition, including many national and international awards for his research and clinical contributions in the field of total hip and knee replacement.
One of the world pioneers in joint replacement surgery, he is listed in the "Best Doctors in America" and was featured by Chicago Magazine in 1999 as a surgeon of international fame. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has served as president for the Illinois Orthopaedic Society, The Hip Society, and the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation.
Dr. Galante resides in Chicago with his wife Sofia.
