The Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush MRI system has no confining tunnel and is open on all four sides. This allows for open flow of air and light to the inside of the unit. This open design is ideal for patients who are claustrophobic or large framed. It also allows a friend or family member to sit at the side of a child or other patient who might be anxious about the procedure.
