Wayne G. Paprosky, M.D.

In his interview with Elizabeth Hofheinz of Orthopedics This Week, Dr. Wayne Paprosky hip and knee reconstruction and replacement surgeon at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, discusses Radiostereometric Analysis (RSA) and says his patients really like the new RSA procedure and are happy to have their implants "followed." Dr. Paprosky and Dr. Scott Sporer have administered RSA to more than 200 hip and knee implant patients since fall 2011. The physicians were the first in the country to implant all elective patients with RSA beads, which monitor if a replacement implant is wearing down or moving.
