Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush wrist and hand specialists Dr. John Fernandez and Dr. Mark Cohen, assisted by Bulls' team physician Dr. Brian Cole, treated Bulls' forward Carlos Boozer for the fracture of his right hand.

Dr. Fernandez and Dr. Cohen performed the successful outpatient surgery to stabilize the 5th metacarpal fracture on Tuesday, October 5th, at Rush University Medical Center. "We are all very optimistic that Carlos will work hard to return to play as soon as possible, once the fracture has healed," commented head team physician Dr. Brian Cole.
