Dr. Joshua Blomgren, MOR internal sports medicine specialist, served as the team physician at the Chicago United Hoops Classic on Saturday, April 30 at the Sullivan Athletic Center at DePaul University. The event brought together Chicago's stand-out high school basketball players in a south side vs. west side all-star game. Proceeds from the event benefit to the Norman Van Lier Scholarship Fund and Purpose Over Pain Organization. The late Bulls' great, Norman Van Lier, knew the south vs. west rivalry well and believed strongly in the power of education in helping today's youth realize their dreams.
