Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush (MOR) is proud to announce the acceptance of Dr. Craig Della Valle into The Hip Society. Dr. Della Valle joins fellow MOR surgeons Dr. Jorge Galante, Dr. Joshua Jacobs, Dr. Aaron Rosenberg, and Dr. Wayne Paprosky as members of this prestigious society.

The Hip Society recently celebrated 40 years of dedication to the advancement of knowledge of the hip joint. The organization is made up of 85 orthopaedic surgeons from across the nation. Only seven members practice in Illinois, five of whom are MOR surgeons. The national organization is directed by a board of seven, including Immediate Past President Dr. Wayne Paprosky and Member at Large, Dr. Joshua Jacobs - both of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush.

Dr. Wayne Paprosky congratulated Dr. Della Valle on his accomplishment by saying: "Dr. Della Valle's acceptance to The Hip Society membership is a well-deserved honor. The research he has participated in and articles and book chapters that he has collaborated on since his residency are just a few of the many reasons he has been nominated to this prestigious society. He will be a valuable asset to The Hip Society and his contributions to orthopaedic medicine will continue to make a difference."
