Sports medicine specialist and director of the Cartilage Restoration Center at Rush, Dr. Brian Cole, was featured on WGN9 News discussing the use of Plasma Rich Platelet (PRP) injections to help alleviate knee pain in his patients.

"Our hope is we'll be able to show that the use of platelets is safe and cost effective, and compared to other standard treatments, it's superior in terms of reducing the patient's pain and improving their function," said Dr. Cole.
