MOR Physicians Report Progress from Haiti
Midwest Orthopedics at Rush physicians blog on their humanitarian mission to devastated country
Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush hand, wrist and elbow surgeon John Fernandez, M.D. and sports medicine physician Jeffrey Mjaanes, M.D. traveled to Haiti to deliver medical care to those hardest hit by the recent earthquake.
Now, through the Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush blog, Dr. Mjaanes is providing ongoing reports on the progress of the team's medical mission.
Dr. Fernandez and Dr. Mjaanes are part of a Rush University Medical Center group of approximately 20 medical professionals that departed Monday, January 25, and will return on February 3.
