Monday, August 7, Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush team physicians led by shoulder specialists Dr. Anthony Romeo and Dr. Gregory Nicholson with assistance from Dr. Charles Bush-Joseph and Dr. Nikhil Verma performed shoulder surgery on Chicago White Sox pitcher John Danks. Danks will be in a sling for four weeks and is expected to be fully recovered and ready for Spring Training in 2013. The procedure was deemed a success.
