Developed by a Japanese chiropractor, the kinesio taping method is non-restrictive and works to help move muscle and tissue. Proponents of the treatment say that it helps reduce pain and inflammation, lessens the injured muscle's workload, provides support, and speeds healing. But how well does it really work?
