Dr. Richard Berger was recently the featured guest on the NBC 5 Chicago's "Living Well" program with Dr. Mary Ann Malloy. On January 2, 2008, Dr. Malloy had her right hip replaced by Dr. Berger, Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush joint replacement surgeon and pioneer in minimally invasive joint replacement.

Over the last five years, Dr. Malloy had been experiencing pain in her hip that made it difficult for her to stand up, get in or out of a car, or go up stairs.
