MOR sports medicine specialist, Dr. Anthony Romeo, was recently selected to the Board of Directors of the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA). Dr. Romeo is one of six members selected as Directors at Large, and the only Illinois representative. He will remain on the board until 2013 when his term is complete.

The AANA was formed in 1981 in response to the need for information and research of arthroscopic techniques. Today nearly one third of all orthopaedic procedures involve arthroscopy. The AANA is the primary source of continued medical education for those practicing arthroscopic procedures and is one of the most respected resources for new techniques and information.
