Staff attends 30th Annual Winter Games Competition in Galena, Illinois
Special Olympics Illinois held their 30th Annual Winter Games in the Galena area on February 2-4, 2010. Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush marketing director Paul Strandquist and his wife Jojo Strandquist were present to cheer on over 400 Special Olympics athletes as they competed in events including: alpine skiing, cross country skiing, figure skating, snowshoeing and speed skating. The event was supported by over 600 coaches and volunteers giving their time to make the event a success.
"What an honor and humbling experience to represent MOR at the Winter Games and witness the athletes in action and experience the feeling of FAMILY amongst the SOI staff, athletes, parents, volunteers and supporters," said Paul Strandquist.
