MOR Orthopedic Building

Orthopedic Building Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush is nationally recognized as a leader in comprehensive orthopedic services ranging from sports medicine, joint, hand, feet, spine, cartilage restoration, pediatrics, trauma, orthopaedic oncology, and shoulder care. Now, these world-renowned orthopedic surgeons and physicians will be providing all of these services under one roof.

The Orthopedic Building will facilitate the provision of health care in a setting that inspires hope and well being. With its many exam and treatment rooms incorporated into an efficient design, the new facility will result in an enhanced patient experience for physician examinations, diagnostic services, and outpatient procedures and also increase convenience for the inpatient unit within close proximity. It will also provide additional space for growth to meet an increasing demand for orthopedic patient care services.

Rush is seeking Silver Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy, efficiency, materials selection and indoor environment quality.

The Orthopedic Building will be located at 1611 W. Harrison Street (on the corner of Ashland Avenue and Harrison Street). By consolidating patient services into one convenient location, the Orthopedic Building will allow us to close our location at 800 S. Wells in the River City building complex and combine downtown outpatient facilities on the Rush campus.
