Youth Sports Injury Prevention
Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush is committed to helping youth athletes stay in the game and recently partnered with the Illinois Athletic Trainers Association to survey the state's licensed high school athletic trainers to determine what sports injuries they see the most. The top five most common youth sports injuries include: knee injuries, shoulder overuse syndrome, back pain, wrist fractures/sprains and concussion.
