Marcia comes to Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush from Northwestern Memorial Hospital where she served as a radiographer since February of 2002. Through her extensive training (including diagnostic equipment manufacturer instruction), Marcia is able to capture highly accurate X-ray images that help our physicians effectively diagnose and treat complex orthopaedic injuries.

Fluent in Spanish, Marcia is able to effectively communicate with our Spanish-speaking patients.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Works closely with nurses and physicians to determine appropriate testing
• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures
• Optimally positions patients for accurate imaging
• Fine-tunes equipment to produce radiographs with the desired density, detail, and contrast
• Works with manufacturers to maintain equipment
