As a highly experienced and capable X-Ray Technologist, Naveed is a valuable member of the Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush patient care team. Through his ability to capture highly accurate X-ray images, our physicians are able to more effectively diagnose and treat complex orthopaedic injuries.

A longtime Chicago resident, Naveed is married and is the proud father of a daughter, Zahra, and six month old son, Zayn, who was born on March 2, 2006.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Works closely with nurses and physicians to determine appropriate testing
• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures
• Optimally positions patients for accurate imaging
• Fine-tunes equipment to produce radiographs with the desired density, detail, and contrast
• Works with manufacturers to maintain equipment
