Biography

Laura is a graduate of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.  She has 15 years of experience in orthopedics and has received her Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist designation, testing the application of advanced clinical knowledge and skills. Laura values the use of evidence-based medicine and the close collaboration with her fellow clinicians and physicians at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush to provide the highest level of care in treating patients with surgical and non-surgical foot, ankle, knee, hip, spine and shoulder injuries. Laura has a special interest in treating patients with foot, ankle, and hip injuries. She has worked closely with professional dancers in Chicago for over 10 years and also enjoys treating active patients desiring to get back to a high level of activity.  Laura's interests began as a gymnast in high school and her previous participation in triathlons.  She enjoys tyring new sports and adventures, but she mainly stays active with yoga, golf, cycling and HIIT classes.
