Knees for Life

Alarmed by the skyrocketing number of young athletes who get ACL injuries, MOR sports medicine physicians joined forces with the Illinois Athletic Trainers Association (IATA) in a public awareness campaign to educate athletes, parents, coaches and athletic trainers about the importance of instituting ACL injury screenings and prevention programs for those athletes vulnerable to ACL injuries.

The IATA, an advocate for safety in sports, and MOR sports medicine physicians, who treat competitive athletes and are team doctors for the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox, launched Knees for Life, a campaign that urges coaches and trainers about the steps they must take to help prevent ACL injuries in young athletes.
