Dr. Giuliana Rotunno is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist, with sub-specialty training in non-surgical interventional spine care.

She attended medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD, where she completed a medical degree as well as a masters of science degree in bioengineering, with a focus on spinal biomechanics. She then went on to complete her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI, where she became chief resident. She subsequently completed sub-specialty training in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.

Dr. Rotunno provides evidence-based medicine with comprehensive neurologic and musculoskeletal assessments, advanced imaging studies, electrodiagnostic testing, and interventional procedures. She values collaboration with other healthcare professionals in a multi-disciplinary practice to help design individualized treatment and rehabilitation programs in order to relieve pain, restore function, and improve quality of life.

She has conducted various clinical and translational research investigations studying spine and gait biomechanics, orthopedic implants, and electrodiagnostic protocols. She has provided lectures and skills courses regarding interventional spine and musculoskeletal care to local medical students and resident physicians.
