Dylan Jurcik is a Physical Therapist born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He is passionate about the role that movement plays in our individualized physical, psychological, and social health. He seeks to optimize the lives of his patients by focusing treatments on their unique needs and functional goals.
Before pursuing a career in physical therapy, he worked as a research assistant at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Pain Management Center working to improve patient-provider communication about pain. His PT interests include the surgical and non-operative rehabilitation of the lower extremity, return to sport, hypermobility spectrum disorders, and chronic pain. He is a member of several special interest groups, including: The Complex Knee, Hip, Shoulder, and Endurance Athletes. He serves as an Advanced Mentor for clinicians joining the Midwest Orthopaedics Physical Therapy team.
When he isn’t at work, Dylan enjoys his time hiking, biking, snowboarding, running, cooking, going to live music events, dancing, and exploring all that Chicago has to offer.
