RESIDENT (PGY2)

Biography

Dr. Emmanuella Oduguwa, originally from Houston, is an orthopedic surgery resident with a passion for addressing health disparities, influencing policy, and advancing clinical practice. She is especially drawn to pediatric orthopedics but remains eager to explore a variety of subspecialties. Inspired by the guidance of exceptional mentors, Dr. Oduguwa is deeply committed to community outreach—a dedication that earned her induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society—and looks forward to mentoring the next generation of physicians. Outside of medicine, she enjoys yoga, being outdoors, creating art, cooking, and hosting. Her first trip abroad, to Ecuador, was a journey full of firsts—ziplining, swinging over 1,000 feet in the air, and tasting new foods—that sparked her love for adventure and new experiences.
