Our new Oak Park clinic, located in the Galewood neighborhood, is now open, offering expert orthopedic care to the west side of Chicago and its surrounding communities.
Dr. Luis Salazar, originally from El Paso, Texas, is an orthopedic surgery resident with research interests in femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), shoulder instability, arthroplasty, and patient-reported outcomes. Outside of the operating room, he enjoys staying active through tennis, running, biking, weightlifting, and camping. He’s also an avid fan of breweries, audiobooks, Formula 1, and Texas Longhorn football. A fun fact about Dr. Salazar: during college, he biked from Texas to Alaska to raise money for cancer research and support services.
