Dr. Divya Agrawal is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist, with sub-specialty training in non-surgical interventional spine care.
She earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She then went on to complete her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the New York Presbyterian Hospitals of Columbia and Cornell. Dr. Agrawal then finished her sub-specialty training in Interventional Spine and pain management at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.
Dr. Agrawal has expert training and several years of experience in diagnosing and providing non-surgical treatment options for patients suffering from various conditions related to the spine. She takes pride in her ability to effectively communicate and connect with, as well as educate patients who are seeking to alleviate their pain and optimize their function.
She has co-authored a book chapter on facet joint imaging, and has published studies on facet joint interventions. Dr. Agrawal has also served as a lecturer on fluoroscopic spine imaging and proctor for interventional spine procedures for the North American Spine Society, as she enjoys passing along her knowledge and expertise to others in her field. She has lectured to PM&R residents and to the local Chicagoland community on behalf of The Arthritis Foundation on topics related to non-surgical spine care.
Dr. Agrawal is a member of North American Spine Society, Spine Intervention Society, and American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
