Biography

Dr. Ehab Yasin completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with subspecialty training in non-surgical interventional spine care. He believes structure and function are deeply interrelated. He provides a comprehensive assessment to patients with a variety of spine conditions.  Utilizing many different diagnostic avenues, including but not limited to, a thorough history and physical examinations, imaging, electrodiagnostic studies, and diagnostic injections, he is able to identify specific pain generators. He is then able to design an individualized treatment plan consisting of a time frame for healing, detailed physical and occupational therapy or exercise prescriptions, medications, and a variety of injections. This will help to restore function in the short term with a focus on prevention in the long run, thus hoping to maximize your quality of life.

He earned his medical degree at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, NY.  He then went on to complete his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He subsequently completed his sub-specialty training in Interventional Spine and MSK at Desert Spine and Sports Physicians in Phoenix, AZ.

Dr. Yasin has published articles discussing various MSK topics. He has lectured both in the Chicagoland area to the PM&R residents and in the Phoenix Metropolitan area regarding various spine and MSK topics.

Dr. Yasin is a member of the North American Spine Society, Spine Intervention Society, and American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
