Hand to Elbow Fractures, a Case-Based Approach to Problem Solving
This 1-1/2 day course sponsored by Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush Hand, Wrist & Elbow Institute will feature in depth lectures on current surgical interventions, treatment, and therapy for fractures of the elbow, wrist, and hand.
Saturday afternoon will be dedicated to small group teaching, with focus on cadaver dissections where anatomy and operative procedure will be demonstrated by the surgeons. Occupational therapy staff will present splinting techniques and tips.
Case Study Submission*
This year the MDs and OTs will be reviewing two participant submitted cases to facilitate discussion around treatment planning and problem solving. A link to upload your case information, should you have a difficult fracture case you would like to review, will be available on the registration website. Please remember to omit all patient identifying information for privacy purposes. Please submit any x-rays, pictures, and objective information you would like presented for discussion.
