History was made on November 9, 2016 when the first football game was played in the home stadium of the Chicago White Sox, now called Guaranteed Rate Field. The Northern Illinois University Huskies battled and lost to the University of Toledo University Rockets, 31 to 24. Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush’s sports medicine physician Dr. Jeremy Alland was on the sidelines as team physician to care for any injured players, which included two with ankles injuries and one with a shoulder injury.
