Dr. Denis Nam Accepted as Member of Knee Society

Dr. Denis Nam, a hip and knee replacement orthopedic surgeon at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, was recently accepted as a member of the Knee Society. Founded in 1983, the Knee Society was created with the intent of fostering a leadership experience in total knee arthroplasty. Their mission is "to promote outstanding care to patients with knee disorders through innovative research and education." 

Today, the current membership of The Knee Society is 109 active, 39 emeritus, 15 honorary, and 10 international members. Members represent nine countries, 30 US states, and 72 academic institutions. 


Dr. Denis Nam is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstruction, replacement, revision, partial knee replacement, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Nam is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. Dr. Nam has also been appointed a member of the AAOS Hip, Knee, & Adult Reconstruction Evaluation Committee, the AAOS Adult Reconstruction Knee Program Committee and a member of the International Congress for Joint Reconstruction Digital Media Committee.
