Dr. Anthony Romeo, shoulder and elbow physician at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush (MOR), is highlighted in a Sports Illustrated story about how pitching fastballs and shoulder/elbow overuse can create injuries in young baseball players.
Dr. Romeo remarks about a recent MOR study showing lack of leg and core strength can create fatigue and affect the young pitcher's ability to throw properly. He discusses some simple prevention exercises that all young baseball players should include as part of their daily routine.
