Physical Therapist

Laura is a graduate of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She has 10 years of experience in orthopedics and has received her Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist designation, testing the application of advanced clinical knowledge and skills. Laura values the use of evidence-based medicine and the close collaboration with physicians at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush to provide the highest level of care in treating patients with surgical and non-surgical foot, ankle, knee, hip, spine and shoulder injuries. Laura has a special interest in treating patients with foot, ankle, hip and sacro-iliac joint injuries. She has worked closely with professional dancers in Chicago for 7 years and also enjoys treating endurance athletes. Laura began these interests as a gymnast through high school and her participation in multiple triathlons, including three Half Ironmans.

  • Examines patients' medical histories
  • Evaluates patients' functional mobility and strength
  • Develops treatment plans
  • Administers therapy including manual therapy techniques
  • Instructs patients on exercise programs
  • Communicates regularly with physician on patient progress and needs
  • Coordinates in-services for clinicians
