Munster Clinic Update
We're glad to share that our clinic and therapy services will resume normal hours starting tomorrow morning. Our MRI equipment is still being evaluated, so imaging appointments may be limited in the meantime. We'll provide an update as soon as MRI services are fully restored.
Thank you for your patience during this time.
Medical Assistants at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush help keep the medical office and clinic running smoothly. They perform a wide variety of administrative and medical functions including obtaining information from patients, recording vital signs, explaining treatments, and assisting the physician during the examination. Under the direct supervision of a physician, they may also call in drug refills, draw blood, prepare patients for X-rays, remove sutures, and change dressings.
In the clinical office, Medical Assistants often handle physician dictation and correspondence, update patient medical records, and arrange hospital admission or laboratory services. Medical Assistants with Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush are certified by the State of Illinois.
