Pitch count regulation for at-risk teen throwers is currently being regulated on a state-by-state basis. Dr. Mark Cohen, Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush hand wrist and elbow surgeon who performs Tommy John surgery on baseball pitchers as young as high school, talks about the increase in this procedure among youth. This story features his patient Ryan Hodgett of West Chicago, now a pitcher at Bradley University.
