Application Process

The MOR Occupational Hand Therapy Fellowship seeks applicants who are passionate about advancing their expertise in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. Our application process is designed to identify motivated occupational therapists who demonstrate strong clinical skills, professionalism, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit the following materials for consideration:

  • Resume or CV
  • Cover letter describing your interest in the fellowship and reasons for applying
  • Three letters of recommendation from professionals familiar with your qualifications and potential as a fellow
  • Completed application form (applications open January 2026).

Please note: The fellowship program is in the process of pursuing accreditation by AOTA. 

Application dates 

The fellowship program follows a structured timeline to ensure a smooth and transparent selection process. Applicants are encouraged to plan ahead and submit materials early to allow ample time for review and scheduling of interviews.

  • The application period will start in January 2026 
  • The application deadline is April 8, 2026 
  • Interviews will occur in May 
  • The expected offer date is June 6, 2026 
  • The expected program start date is August 24, 2026 

Selection process

A face-to-face formal interview will be scheduled. A virtual interview may be considered.
